Meadee Flooring Ltd have supplied and installed flooring for a large variety of hotels over the years, including for IHG hotels. We have fitted carpets, vinyls and LVTs to hotels in their front of house and back of house settings. Our hotel kitchen flooring provides a safe, hard-wearing surface, whilst our hotel lobby flooring can help make the perfect first impression.
Whether you want a carpet or hard flooring installed, we can help you to specify something that will be suitable if it has not already been specified by an interior designer or hotel chain.
Our Range
Quality Hotel Flooring Solutions
Carpet gives a warm, homely feel so it’s no surprise it’s the go-to choice for hotel bedrooms and corridors. That being said, in more communal areas of hotels, our clients usually prefer a hard floor such as LVT wood effect. This type of flooring is much easier to keep clean and usually keeps its appearance for longer than carpets. We feel pairing LVT and carpet and zoning off certain areas often work best in the long run and keep your carpets looking better for longer whilst still maintaining that homely feel that carpets bring.
We also install commercial vinyl’s to back of house areas such as kitchens or staff areas that are built to be more functional. Wherever you need hotel flooring for, we can fit a suitable floor for you.

Flexible Service Options
Hotel Flooring Installation and Consultancy
We have installed many different carpets and vinyl’s to hotel chains over the past 25 years. We can install carpets in both the traditional method with gripper and underlay, but also fully stuck down carpets on Duralay – this installation method is preferred for a few reasons. The double stick method, as this is called, means a rubber crumb underlay is first glued down to the subfloor, then the carpet is adhered to the rubber underlay. This method is perfect for very heavy duty settings and will prolong the life of your carpet. The carpet will never go ‘saggy’ as it’s locked in place with the adhesive. We have fitted well over 1000 square meters of Ulster carpets in the double stick method to various areas of an IHG hotel in Oxfordshire in 2025, so you can feel reassured you’re in safe hands.

Hotel Flooring FAQs
Do you fit long lasting carpets?
Yes, we do. We can supply and install a huge range of carpets from manufacturers such as Westex, Wilton, Ulster, Victoria, Axminster, Kersaint Cobb, Lano and JHS to name a few brands, so you’ll be sure to find a suitable carpet for you.
Can you install LVT next to carpet?
Yes, we can. Depending on the thickness of your carpet and underlay compared to your finished LVT height, we can install the right bar that transitions between them.
We want our flooring changed but we have guests staying in the hotel, can you still fit our floor?
We have an excellent team of fitters who have no issue working around hotel guests and keep noise to a minimum, so we can fit new flooring whilst guests are present. Usually, when we change flooring in hotels, we work on a floor-by-floor basis, finishing a floor before moving onto the next. This means you can have guests the floors above/below while were working. We want to try and accommodate you and your guests as best as possible and we can come up with a schedule of works that suit all parties.
What is the best flooring for hotels?
The best flooring for hotels and hospitality spaces depends on the needs of the room itself. Meadee Flooring installs hotel carpet for bedroom spaces, a range of vinyl flooring options for communal hotel areas as well as more heavy-duty or non-slip flooring options for commercial kitchens, wet rooms, gyms and any other spaces.
