Process
Our estimator viewed the plans digitally and after requesting photos of the space, we quoted for the area. The quote included a small vinyl area around the small kitchenette.
We sent the client samples and after they agreed, we settled on an appropriate fitting date.
- Tackifing the floor with F41 adhesive
- Marking out and laying the carpet tiles
- Fitting Forbo Allura flex 1mm around the kitchenette
Result
The client was happy with the finished room and liked how the vinyl and carpet areas was seamless.
Using Forbo’s Allura Flex in this instance was the perfect solution, as they are a 5mm loose lay product (like the carpet tiles are), there’s no need for any transition strips/bars.
